The Belgrade Energy Forum 2025 (#BEF2025) was successfully held on May 14-15 in Serbia’s capital, reaffirming its role as the leading event platform for dialogue in the region’s energy transition space. Organized by the Balkan Green Energy News portal, which serves as Southeast Europe’s leading source for sustainable energy and green economy news, this year’s forum brought together an impressive array of stakeholders for the third consecutive year.

Participants included high-level representatives from EU institutions, ministers and officials from five regional governments, and prominent industry associations and companies from the Western Balkans, Europe and beyond. Their collective insights into current and future energy transition strategies were particularly valuable, supporting the SEE region’s ambitions to decarbonize, digitalize, provide energy security and achieve climate action goals.
